Leviathan
Description
In his desperate quest, Aleksander encounters Deryn Sharp, a resourceful girl masquerading as a boy to pursue her dream of serving in the British Air Service. Their paths collide as they confront danger and challenge the norms of their respective societies. Together, they form an unlikely partnership, using their strengths to overcome obstacles that threaten their very lives.
As the brewing conflict escalates, alliances are tested, and loyalties are questioned. The fate of nations hangs in the balance, compelling both Aleksander and Deryn to confront their destinies and redefine what it means to be a leader in a world that blends the extraordinary with the deeply human.
Reviews
I didn't like what I managed to read of this book. I put it down just a few chapters in (which is extremely unusual for me). If I can find grammatical and spelling errors on the first page of the book, I know there are going to be some issues. The editors didn't do a very good job in finding the correct spelling, which really bugs me because IT IS THEIR JOB! I got so irritated while noticing these things that I couldn't stand reading it anymore. Some of my friends made a recap of the story for me, so I know the basic storyline. And that sounds pretty good; but I just couldn't get past all the mistakes. That is why I'm giving this book a 2.
