Looking for Blondie

Looking for Blondie is told in the first person by fourteen-year-old Justine (Just, for short). Just lives with her Uncle Sam who is famous for writing crime thrillers. In a radio interview he admits that he can't write unless he has a special mascot on his desk. This mascot is Blondie, a Barbie-type doll that Just gave him when she was four years old, though he doesn't admit this to the interviewer. Next day the mascot is stolen and the hunt to find the doll and solve the mystery begins.
