If it were ever revealed that Satin wrote that book, she and her family would be ruined. Which is just what Sir Edward Danton counted on. He had lusted after Satin for a long time. Somehow he discovered her secret and used it to force her to agree to marry him.

But Satin's heart was otherwise engaged. She had fallen in love with Lord Wildfire, a dashing Duke with a penchant for the ladies, but not for marriage.
