I was gone from the first flirty conversation. What I loved most though? He didn’t just show up for her, he showed up for her daughter. The way he quietly fit himself into both their worlds made my heart ache in the sweetest way. And the fact that he encouraged her to chase her dream—not by pushing, but by believing in her when she couldn’t—ugh, perfection. And don’t even get me started on that WTF plot twist with his nemesis. Did not see that coming!
