The palpable sexual tension between the characters adds an irresistible layer to their relationship, making their journey all the more captivating. As the plot unfolds, the warm and cozy atmosphere evokes a sense of comfort, reminiscent of curling up with a soft blanket by a crackling fire, sipping on hot cocoa, and losing oneself in a heartwarming tale.➸ Stella:“I don’t like the term ‘settling down.’ I didn’t settle for anything. There were countless times I wished I could envelop her in a comforting embrace, both for her sake and for the solace of the farm that stands as a symbol of her resilience.➸ Luke:“I’m going to love her in all the quiet ways, the slow ways, the loud and obnoxious ways.”He is truly a remarkable person—sweet, considerate, and undeniably handsome. There have been countless moments when I found myself completely enchanted by him, and my affection for him only grew stronger. His culinary skills are impressive, and I cherish the way he cuddles in his sleep, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere. One of the most endearing things about him is how his ears turn a delightful shade of pink whenever he feels embarrassed; it’s a small detail that makes him even more lovable. Perhaps the most adorable gesture he makes is leaving tree-shaped air fresheners for Stella to discover each time he visits, a thoughtful reminder of his affection. For a long time, his feelings for Stella transcended mere friendship, and it pained me to witness the moment he bared his soul to her, expressing his true emotions. Unfortunately, her fear of losing him led to a misunderstanding, causing her to respond in a way that made him feel as though his feelings were unreciprocated. In those moments, all I wanted was to wrap him in my arms and reassure him that he was cherished and valued.“I’m really glad I asked you to be my fake boyfriend,” I confess. “I’m really glad I agreed to be your fake boyfriend.” “I love you.”Luka and Stella shared an undeniable bond, one that had been quietly simmering beneath the surface for far too long. The tension that had been building between them resembled a flickering flame, poised to burst into a full blaze. However, I was relieved that the resolution came swiftly, allowing the story to regain its momentum. The epilogue was a delightful touch that truly compensated for the earlier tension. Although I anticipated the ending, it still managed to be heartwarming and charming. The bonus chapter from Luka’s perspective was a delightful surprise, capturing everything I hoped for and more. It left me wishing that Lovelight Farms were a real place I could visit. I’m eagerly looking forward to diving into the next installment of the series, which focuses on Beckett. 2.5/5 ⭐this isn’t even getting a proper review because i just can’t be bothered. i almost entirely got through this with the audiobook and honestly would’ve dnfed if i were to have actually sat down and read the words. it was so BORING. cozy vibes, yes, but that’s all it really had going for it (and luka being so sweet we love that). i didn’t care about the characters, i didn’t care about the plot, i didn’t feel chemistry between the main characters ... i just did not care one bit!!! which is such a bummer because i hear great things about this and i was excited to finally get to it after multiple christmas seasons coming and going of me putting it off, but guys i’m sorry it just was not good. sigh.

I couldn’t stand the FMC, but still so good 🥹
