It is sad to think this is the end of an Epic saga that had been entertaining through out the decades. I have enjoyed the ride from the very beginning with Magician: Apprentice, which at the time I deemed as one of the best books I had read, ranking it up the with Lord of the Rings.Feist evolved the series and grew the knowledge of Pug to match his centuries of life while never having him lose his humanity because of the esoteric mysteries he learned. When the saga moved toward explaining these mysteries, a central intertwined storyline was being told to give your mind a rest from vast, overwhelming concepts of time, planes, and alternate realities. These vastly different concepts worked in concert to tell a compelling story. One hopes that Mr. Feist will one day resurrect the tales of Midekemia for I will miss these stories immensely.
