Reviews
This novel is too long. Too. Damn. Long. Furthermore, what was this all about? I regard myself as a feminist, but there wasn't much that is feminist in this book. Yes, guys can do whatever they want, blah blah. It really lacks depth. This is not a bad novel, but it was not gripping. A fast read anyway, mostly it didn't hurt (sometimes it did), and I couldn't relate to Vivien (I couldn't like her) at all. Many people will like it as a holiday read, but it is definitely not the right novel for me. 2.5 stars
Let's be very real...Angela did not read all that.
