Created by a young boy named Max, Budo is more than just a figment of imagination; he embodies the innocence and creativity of childhood, showcasing the bond between a child and his fanciful companion. As Budo navigates the challenges of being an imaginary friend in a world increasingly defined by the need to grow up, he reflects on the nuances of loyalty and the intrinsic desire to protect his friend from the harsh realities of life.
As the narrative progresses, Budo’s love for Max becomes palpable, illuminating the unbreakable ties that friendship can forge—even in the face of adversity. Through moments of joy and heartache, the story resonates deeply, exploring themes of acceptance, loss, and the transformative power of imagination. oh my goodness. At first I really didn't like the book too much. It seemed childishly written. But once I started reading the book more and more, I began to like the book more and more. Obviously I somewhat liked the middle and then right after 3/4 of the way in I couldn't put it down.My boyfriend pointed out that I really like alternative point of views. I have to agree that that is true. I would definitely recommend this one.
