The Metamorphosis (German: Die Verwandlung) is a novella written by Franz Kafka which was first published in 1915. Modello indiscusso per la letteratura dell’assurdo novecentesca, l’angosciante racconto de La metamorfosi può essere letto come metafora dell’abbrutimento in cui riduce il lavoro alienante e logorante, ma anche come allegoria del diverso o della disabilità non capiti e guardati con sospetto e orrore; o ancora come condizione degradante autoindotta in difesa e protezione dal mondo e dai suoi doveri.

The Metamorphosis is one of my favourite short stories, and this is a very fun adaptation (and the art is so goooooood).
