It is the retelling of Twilight from Edward's perspective.i must admit that I have not read New moon and the other two books .I was so curious to know what was going on Edward's head all the time that I gave up reading New moon to read Midnight Sun.but I don't want to continue reading [b:New moon|49041|New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)|Stephenie Meyer|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/414jgcy2FAL._SL75_.jpg|3203964] I'm sort of tired reading about bella's love for Edward.I want to read something new.maybe,i will read them later.
I didn't really like how long it was. It was like 2x the size and length of the original Twilight book and covered generally the same stuff with some added details and commentary.
[Spoiler Free Review]Genuinely my most favourite book in the whole series and in my top 10 in general. I think the first Twilight book was the best and I'm so happy Stephenie Meyer decided to do the book again but from Edward's view. I am however quite sad that she said she wouldn't do it again, because writing from Edward's POV was more difficult which is understandable. But I would KILL for all the books to be written from his perspective.I genuinely enjoyed Edward's POV so much, he's so dramatic and broody in the best way possible, there were some iconic lines honestly, he unintentionally cracked me up at times. I just wish there were more romance books from the male's POV more often, it's just very sweet how much he loves Bella.
Reading Edward’s perspective is like stepping into a constant internal storm. On the outside, he is calm, controlled, and almost untouchable. But inside, his thoughts are chaotic, obsessive, analytical, and emotionally overwhelming. Every interaction with Bella is magnified..every scent, every glance, every hesitation becomes a battle between instinct and restraint.Yeassss!!! We need more of this !!! I want the entire series in Edward's POV ..
It took way too long to force Myself to read this I loved the original twilight books. I loved them so much I read them over and over again even all of them in one day. But this book was so hard to get through. Maybe because I'm older? Idk but he creeper vibes and cringe I got from this book was horrible. The extra conversations that never happened in the original boos were interesting. But this book is making me want to reread the original books to see if my feelings for them have changed. It literally took me a month to get through this book and I had to force myself to finish. Very disappointed tbh
