Mike Mars Around the Moon #8

The first manned flight around the moon takes Mike Mars on one of his most dangerous missions yet. Mike, Johnny Bluehawk, and Jack Lannigan go through rigorous secret training in preparation for flight in the Apollo. Meanwhile, however, Arkady Kosmodin and other Soviet space experts are despera t e ly trying to ready their own circumlunar ship in time to beat the Americans and gain the prestige of the first flight. When they realize that the Apollo will be in space before the Russian craft, they devise a sinister plot to make sure that th e Am erican ship will never reach earth again. Only courage and real teamwork stand between the Apollo and total disaster.
