Peter Campion offers insight into the breadth of Johnson's work. The book features over 50 color plates and is available only at Amazon. Mitchell Johnson is well known for his modernist landscapes of Europe and Cape Cod. For more than 25 years, he has simultaneously produced color-field paintings which explore the emotional and psychological content of color.
