Morgen Curse

Ieuan is a young morgen in a lot of trouble. The storm he sung up to soothe his broken heart attracted the attention of the Cursed One, an underwater sorcerer exiled from his people for a terrible crime. But the Cursed One wants Ieuan's help to save a life--that of Zane, a sailor shipwrecked in Ieuan's storm. Ieuan finds himself drawn into the Cursed One's impossible task against his better judgement, and quickly discover that humans--and sorcerers--are far less terrible and far more confusing than he could ever have predicted.

When morgen leader Howel reveals the storm that is the source of their problems was Ieuan's creation, Ieuan discovers just how much his new friends mean to him--and he too them. But Zane's presence in their waters gives Howel the excuse he needs to destroy the Cursed One for good. Ieuan's storm song is no weapon against morgen, the Cursed One is out of magic, and Zane's injured. Will their unlikely alliance survive the morgen?

Set in the same world as Deep Magic, Morgen Curse explores what happened to the morgen who left the Llŷn Peninsula. A paranormal romance with no sex and a HFN ending, it is a start rather than a true sequel.
