Description

When a quiet English village becomes the backdrop for a series of peculiar events, the usually peaceful atmosphere is shattered. A stranger's arrival sets off a chain of observations that hint at a darker reality lurking under the surface. As whispers of intrigue fill the air, the true nature of the townsfolk is called into question. It soon becomes apparent that in this serene locale, danger thrives.

In a riveting blend of mystery and suspense, a keen-eyed amateur detective uncovers layers of deception and motives hiding in plain sight. Life in the village takes a decisive turn as the chase for the truth intensifies, with betrayals and unforeseen twists that keep readers engaged till the very end. Agatha Christie masterfully weaves a narrative where each character holds secrets, and every seemingly innocent act could lead to dire consequences, leaving readers breathless as they contemplate the fine line between trust and treachery.

This was so good that it quite literally made me sweat, grip my bed frame, and get heart palpitations. I’m now covered in sweat, and trying to calm my pulse, at 6 in the morning, with no sleep. 100% would read for the first time all over again if I could.

This book was excellent! I'm crying because I accidentally read a spoiler and it literally spoiled my view, but nonetheless, I love the way it was written and the development. I highly recommend it!
