Description

Bill and Al were playing an early morning round of golf at the Elm Creek Golf Club. They had finished the first five holes, and then, they came to the sixth hole. They’d start the sixth, but they wouldn’t finish it. It is a hole they both would remember for the rest of their lives. It became the most infamous hole in the town of Springerville. All because of what they found in the deep greenside sand trap which was located just off the back right-side of the green. They had teed off, and then hit their second shots from the fairway. When they arrived in their golf cart at the small pullout for the green, Bill took his putter from his golf bag, while Al grabbed his sand wedge and putter. As Bill walked toward his ball, Al walked over to the large, deep sand trap. As he approached, he slowed his steps, and then stopped, staring. He then nervously said, “Bill, Come here!” Bill, sensing the anxiety in Al’s voice said, “Why? What’s wrong?” Al explained, “Bill, there’s a body in this trap.”
