Murder on the Links: A BBC Full-Cast Radio Drama

Thirteen short stories work as an introduction to Miss Marple. This was beautiful. I loved how Agatha Christie presented her as a cute old lady who solves "unsolved" crimes while knitting. With Poirit, we have enough evidence to find who the guilty person is. Miss Marple works in a whole different way: the way of people. She can identify the guilty party by hearing about them and getting to know their nature. Miss Marple knows people's behavior thanks to her age and observation abilities, and that's how she simply "knows" who did it every single time. 

It was refreshing to get to know more about Hastings and his character. He is such a dreamer always putting his feelings first, which affects his usage of his "grey cells" and the reason why he feels he's always being mocked by Poirot. This book was more about Hastings than it was of Poirot — contrary to the first one:The previous book was about the marvelous detective, Hercule Poirot, from Hastings POV; this one was more about Hastings's understanding of reality, and how he develops in it. I did like this book better. Can't wait to continue reading to get to know more and more about the adventures of Detective Hercule Poirot and his loyal and sentimental friend, Captain Hastings.
