Myth-Gotten Gains

Taking a long-awaited vacation, Aahz finds himself in a local flea market in a remote dimension, talking with a magikal sword who claims to be Ersatz, famous leader of the Golden Hoard, a fabled collection of seven powerful treasures. Ersatz persuades Aahz to purchase him, promising he will be repaid, not only in money, but by the return of his long-long magikal powers. The catch is that to get his reward, he has to locate the rest of the Hoard. Aahz joins up with Tananda and her current employer, Calypsa, who also wants to collect the Hoard. She needs it to trade with the evil wizard Barrik for the life of her grandfather, the great dancer Calypso. What started as a perfectly straightforward transaction turns into a combination treasure hunt, rescue mission, ego-stroking session and peacemaking encounter. The task is made all the more difficult by the fact that not only are the artifacts spread out across the dimensions, but they have never really liked one another...
