The flash-forward scenes are starting to ruin me because now even the happy moments feel temporary. You know these people eventually lose something important, so you can't even enjoy their relationships without wondering what happened. Nana O. remains one of the most fascinating characters to me because she's simultaneously incredibly strong and incredibly fragile. Nobody writes female characters quite like Yazawa.
