The older I get, the more I understand why people say NANA isn't really a romance. It's about loneliness, dependency, friendship, ambition and the ways people destroy themselves trying to be loved. Everyone is so deeply flawed. I still want to fight half of them, but I also understand them more than I probably should. This series has officially stopped being fun and started emotionally attacking me.
