The amount of emotional damage packed into this volume is actually ridiculous. Nana O. and Ren's relationship is complicated as hell, and you can feel how much their past still controls them. Meanwhile, Nana K. is starting to realize that love isn't nearly as simple as she thought it was. I really like how Yazawa doesn't make relationships purely good or bad. People can genuinely love each other and still be terrible for each other.
