Even just as rescuers during a simulation, they find themselves deeply attached to creatures who no longer have a place to call home. -

Finally, a child is born with a lifetime of memories and knowledge. She knows she has an important purpose, and that her world will perish without her help, but has no idea how to get them to listen. She decides to trust the only part of her society that has shown some ability to deal with reality, but fears they will abandon her before the task is complete. -

These stories are filled with wit-sharpening and skill-honing challenges - mental, emotional, and spiritual - for both the characters and the reader.
