The idea for this book got its spark two years ago when the author bought a curious photo album. The film contained fleeting snapshots of a New York that never sleeps, from the southern tip of Manhattan north past Central Park.
The images serve to create a perfect homage to the grand metropolis, demonstrating its vibrancy despite being shot in black and white, and revealing a melting pot of different people, realities and sentiments.
