Inicio do livro muito lento. Depois tornou-se demasiado sexual o que faz com que se perca um pouco da história. O final melhorou o livro, mas ainda assim não fiquei encantada.
Esse livro tem muitos pontos que lembra Gothikana, o problema é que achei Gothikana bem melhor.
O livro não é ruim.
É bom, tem uma boa ambientação e é bem escrito, mas não teve aquela coisa que me fez apaixonar.
Vamos em partes:
Os personagens são legais, porém não morri de amores por eles. Principalmente com a Lilia que é a protagonista, tinha horas que ela corria muito atrás do Devryck, do mesmo jeito que as outras garotas corriam e isso é meio irônico porque ela reclamava dessas garotas.
O Devryck tinha motivos concretos para ficar receoso sobre se envolver porque isso poderia trazer problemas para os dois e dificultar a pesquisa em que ele tanto trabalhava.
E não tem como eu não comparar com Gothikana já que os dois livros tem elementos super parecidos.
Em Gothikana achei os personagens cativantes e gostei do desenvolvimento do casal.
Já o casal de Nocticadia demorou um pouco para acontecer e quando aconteceu eles passavam mais uma sensação de relacionamento carnal do que emocional, só pelo final mesmo que os sentimentos ficaram mais claro.
Os dois tem química tem química, mas só na pequena cena que teve da Lilia com o irmão do Devryck senti que os dois poderiam ser um casal muito bom. Mas pelo visto ele teve tanto trauma que começou a acreditar em coisas que não aconteceram, acho que o interesse que ele teve pela Lilia não foi genuíno, foi mais por achar que Devryck era o inimigo dele aí queria se vingar pegando a mulher do cara. Mas no fim ele se lembrou das memórias e tudo se resolveu.
Porém daria um Plot massa se os irmãos virassem inimigos mesmo e a Lilia acabasse ficando com o Caed.
Sobre a história central.
Tudo gira em torno de um bicho que tem umas toxinas que pode matar e também pode curar. É interessante mas confesso que as vezes me perdia, é cada nome complicado e ao mesmo tempo parecido um com outro aí isso as vezes me cansava.
Mas gostei dessa coisa de ter uma sociedade secreta.
Pelo visto é um livro único mas por causa do final fiquei pensando que talvez teria um livro da Bee com o Caed.
Mas não sei se a escritora vai fazer mesmo ou só colocou aquele fim para tirar onda.
Eu queria um livro do Caed porque acho que ele seria um protagonista interessante, mas não sei se curto a idéia de ele ficar com a irmã da Lilia.
Como eu disse, acho que ele não se interessou de verdade por Lilia, mas só por deixar a entender que poderia ter ficado afim acabo não gostando da ideia de ele ficar com alguém da mesma família dela, porque me passa a sensação que ficou com a garota só porque lembrava a outra mulher.

4.75 ⭐️Love it. The ending was damn. Just wish there were some parts in this book that didn't feel random or the too violent parts (to me at least).

Very good, but i didn't like how slow the slow burn was and also that everything happened in the end and everything was a bit rushed in the end.

This book was long and it felt long. But it was a page turner and I finished all 682 of them in 3 days. I might add another star after a few days of reflection.
“And so the moth befriended the flame.”This was my first Keri Lake book, and I’m officially hooked! I listened to the audiobook and was absolutely blown away. Both narrators did an incredible job—they shifted their tone for each character so well, it made the whole cast come alive. Being able to feel the emotions really helped pull me into this world.Nocticadia is dark, immersive, and totally unique. Keri Lake did a great job with the world-building, I could pretty much see Dracadia in my head. However, the story itself had a slow start, and I wasn't hooked until the halfway mark—but once it picked up? I was HOOKED! Some of the twists I never saw coming.I enjoyed seeing Lilia and Devryck’s relationship grow. The push and pull, and the spice? SPICY
Soooo good. It's slow going for a bit then things get even weirder. Towards the end the pace come flying at you. The spice was great but I found myself not even caring. I was so caught up in the twists and turns.
