Description

In a world divided by a rigid social hierarchy, where skin color determines one's status, two young hearts find themselves caught in the crossfire of injustice and discrimination. Sephy, a Cross, enjoys privilege and power, while Callum, a Nought, faces the harsh realities of societal oppression. Their friendship ignites a spark of rebellion against the ingrained prejudices that surround them, challenging the norms of their divided society.

As they navigate their contrasting worlds, the weight of their love faces insurmountable challenges. The complexities of their relationship shed light on the deeply rooted biases that fuel hatred and mistrust. Each chapter reveals a poignant exploration of loyalty and betrayal, forcing both characters to confront their own beliefs and the stark realities of their lives.

Through the lens of their profound connection, profound questions emerge about identity, resilience, and the far-reaching impacts of an unjust system. Readers are drawn into a narrative that reflects the often-painful struggles for acceptance and equality, making it a powerful discourse on race and humanity that resonates across generations.
