I listened to the audiobook ARC narrated by Jennifer Pickens, and I'm glad I finally got to this one! I love cult stories, and this was a different twist on the usual true-crime/cult stories I’ve heard. Jennifer’s narration of the story gave Dr. Liz a calm, collected demeanor as she tries to survive being kidnapped by a cult. 🚼🩺💉🩺🚼This was a quick, fast-paced feminist thriller. I’d recommend this audiobook if you need a quick, easy read with the drama and suspense to sate a true-crime fan.🖤🎧Thanks to NetGalley & Macmillan Audio for my audiobook ARC.
