On A Clear Summer Day: A World War Two Novel

During a World War Two bombing mission, American Lieutenant Victor Micheli's P-47 fighter has been shot down over Nazi-occupied France. Rescued by a seemingly friendly Frenchman and his daughter, Victor quickly realizes things are not exactly what they seem, and he is forced to rely on his wits, and more than a little good luck. Soon confronted by the decision to either assist the French resistance in a dangerous mission against the Nazi-occupiers, or to remain a silent spectator, Victor finds himself in the midst of a pivotal moment in history, where making the wrong decision can cost him his life.
