This is the first book in Cleo Coyle's Coffeehouse Mystery series, it is a cozy mystery and as such it was a quick & fun read. Clare Cosi, is back as the manager of the historic Village Blend coffeehouse after a few years living in the suburbs she's taken back her old job for her Mother-in-law (ex). Clare has spend that last several years raising her daughter while her ex gallivants around the world. Her first real day back and Clare finds her assistant Manager Anabelle unconcious at the bottom of the stairs. After some investigation the police feel that it was a horrible and tragic fall not foul play. Clare is not so sure, and she and her recently returned ex-husband try and save the coffeehouse and figure out who pushed Anabelle?3.5 - 4 stars (can't make up my mind ;)
