Orphans Through My Window

Some stories have to be told. This story takes place between the politically turbulent years of 1962 and 1963. It took unique characters to bring this tale to life... Spencer Helms and a squirrel named Dell. Spencer, an only child, was born with a malady which caused him to be unable to speak. He and Dell develop a magical telepathic way of communicating. Together, Spencer and Dell’s world is filled with the dramatic events occurring historically, as well as, the unexpected life experiences of their neighbors, some of which are very disturbing. As a result of Spencer’s problem, his parents decided to school him at home. Along the way, Spencer discovers he has a natural talent as a sketch artist. This will prove to have profound consequences. About the Thomas Kent grew up in Michigan. He has been a poet and songwriter since he was very young. He now resides on the west coast of California with his wife of over thirty years.
