Description

Tully Larson has always had a fascination with tropical storms, a passion nurtured during magical summer days spent with his father on the coast. These storms not only ignited his love for nature's fury but also shaped his understanding of life’s unpredictable moments. However, as he transitions into adulthood, Tully finds himself grappling with the tumultuous emotions of love, loss, and longing that mirror the chaos of the storms he adores.

Amidst the backdrop of stormy skies and crashing waves, Tully embarks on a journey of self-discovery. He learns to confront his fears and embrace the unpredictability of relationships, truly realizing that, much like the weather, life is a tempest that cannot always be controlled. As the storms roll in, Tully must decide whether to shield himself from the rain or to embrace the chance for joy and connection that awaits him on the other side.

This book was honestly too cute! Tully was the most golden retriever character I have ever come across, and I loved every second of it. It is a bit of a stretch, I feel, to call Jeremiah a black cat for me, but it was definitely what the author intended. It was a bit repetitive at times, but the characters carried the story for me.
