Description
Eight of these papers develop informally the author's views on the nature of temporal facts, and five present solutions to technical problems. Topics discussed include the sense in which time may be said to 'flow', the alleged subjectivity of 'presentness', the inconsistency between foreknowledge and the reality of alternative futures, the problem of reffering to individuals before they exist, the question whether one individual can become two, the connections between the logic of the past, present and future and that of the earlier-later relation, and the logical consequences of supposing time to have a beginning or an end.
