Persuasione

Es la primera vez que leo a esta autora y puedo decir que disfrute leyendo la novela. Aunque al inicio me costó agarrarle el hilo a la historia por la cantidad de personajes que salen al inicio.
Me encantó leer a Anne y algunos de los personajes secundarios aunque me hubiera encantado poder conocer un poco más a Frederick.
También me habría gustado que entre Anne y Frederick hubiera más diálogos que descripciones.
Al final te deja con una gran reflexión sobre lo importante que es el aprender a tomar tus propias decisiones y no dejarte persuadir por otras personas aunque sus intenciones sean buenas.

I have never any of Jane Austen's work prior to this and so I had no idea what was is store for me. I have always enjoyed English literature so i figured this would not not be hard to go through. Oh dear was I wrong. It felt as if I was actually preparing for an English literature exam. This was one of the hardest books I ever had to read. I found that I had to be reading over paragraphs several times so as to be able to understand what was being said. Despite the difficulties encountered I found it to be quite an interesting read. I am glad that I persevered as it was worth it in the end.
