This series gets 10 + Stars from me... Its my all time favourite, closely followed by The Guild Hunter series!I don't know which group I love most, the wild and alpha Changlings or the complicated Psy's? when I started this series I was clearly in the Changling camp when it came to sides, but as Nalini has developed this series I have become more and more torn, to where by the time Heart of Obsidian came out I was so intrigued by the deep but emotionally stunted Psy men I was 50/50 on which team I was still on.By the time we get to Shield of Winter, Silence has fallen and our main character Vasic an Arrow Soldier, the Tk_V Assassin is dealing with the weight of the souls that are carved on his soul in blood, he thinks his penance is to walk the world alone, that he is beyond redemption. You will be sucked into this book and you won't put it down until the last page.This book has some fantastic scenes, I would quote them but I think you should find them yourself.Well done Nalini Singh... This series just gets better and better... may the characters continue to shout for their stories to be told!
