Playing with Fire

Detective Mike Nash returns to Yorkshire, seeking solace and a slower pace after the hustle of London. He anticipates a tranquil life surrounded by the rolling hills and familiar faces of his youth. Yet, his hopes for peace are soon shattered when a string of bizarre incidents erupts in the heart of the community. Rather than idyllic country living, Mike finds himself thrust into a turbulent investigation that tests his skills and determination.

As he delves into the unsettling events, Mike uncovers a web of secrets and lies hidden beneath the surface of the seemingly peaceful village. The more he investigates, the more the stakes rise, pulling him deeper into the complexities of human nature and the darker side of rural life. Each clue leads to a new twist, forcing him to confront not only the sinister forces at play but also his own past.

With tension mounting and danger lurking around every corner, Mike must race against time to prevent disaster. The idyllic landscapes of Yorkshire serve as both a comforting backdrop and a stark contrast to the chaos that envelops him. In this gripping narrative, the line between safety and peril blurs, revealing that even the quietest places can harbor the fiercest flames of conflict.
