Okay, I'll admit, I started to get frustrated with this one until nearly the end. For most of the book, Summer and Fitz are just dancing around each other. Summer is upset about things Fitz said and Fitz thinks she's just being her dramatic self.Neither one of them are really in the right. Summer gets upset enough to kiss Hunter, or I guess he kissed her? And Fitz just tries to avoid her and pretend he doesn't want her.And it doesn't help that, likely because of that kiss, Hunter "calls dibs" on Summer [I hate that phrase but I get it, bro code I guess], and basically makes it clear he likes her. And Summer doesn't encourage it, really, but she also doesn't stop him, leading to them having some moments together. But as it got to the end, I started to enjoy it more. Having the added storyline of a slimy prof led to a bit of tension. If this book were longer or a different genre, it might have led to the prof claiming she came onto him and leading to a "he said, she said" issue, bringing into question who to believe. At least for the upper staff and student body. With one fellow student already thinking she was using her body to butter up the prof, it could have easily gone in that direction.Instead, the prof went after another student and got caught, leading to him getting reported. And as bad as it sounds, two reports are more trustworthy than one. It truly sucks that's how it is.All in all, it did end well but I feel sad for Hunter. It sucks that he got hurt in this but, it is overall Summer's choice who she wants to be with. He is right in being upset. I mean, he basically got rejected and then has to watch as the girl he likes gets with his best friend. I am honestly looking forward to getting to his book. But right now, it's time for Brenna and Jake and I am so looking forward to listening to that one. It's Teddy freaking Hamilton after all. And I am totally biased when it comes to him.

I really enjoyed this one too. It was cute and interesting.Garrett throwing out "GiGi" as a name for a girl made me laugh, considering what I know about his own children.Considering this story was an accidental pregnancy story, I was interested to see how it would go. The last accidental pregnancy story I had read had ended in a miscarriage for the main couple and I was really hoping that wasn't the route this was going to go down.I was happy that it didn't go that route and the baby was born safely. I loved Sabrina's POV in this, mainly because her narrator gave Tucker an accent that I just love [I'm a Southern girl who loves the Southern accent]. The male narrator sometimes had it but it wasn't a lot and mostly on certain words, like when he called Sabrina "darlin'." I loved it so much.I'm so excited to get to the next book and see how things went for our crew three years out of college. And then I can return to Briar and start the Briar U series.

reread: it is still meh

I loved the other Briar U series, but this book was just meh. I found it too full of drama and to be overly repetitive. Plus, I just didn't feel the connection between Summer and Fitz like I wanted to. Overall, this was a let down.

Tucker is the perfect Southern man. Love the accidental pregnancy is to cute their little family. Wish we had seen more cute scenes of them especially once Jamie was born

I literally wanted to rate this book lower cuz the previous book spoiled it for me. I already knew that Sabrina was gonna be pregnant but after completing this book there was no way i could have rated it lower. If i could have rated it higher i would have cuz it was worth it.
