I loved this book! It was so full of emotion and described each character in a way that made me feel I was there. It made me think about my own experiences with grief and the observations I’ve made of how others grieve. It made me think about the concept of family, friendship, advocacy for those in our care, staying true to your beliefs, love in all its forms, and finding the way forward. I also loved that the setting is Hawaii! I’ve been to Kauai and I could picture the places mentioned.
