In a world steeped in destiny and the echoes of ancient pacts, readers are drawn into a tale of complexity and compelling characters. The narrative unfolds as the protagonist grapples with her own fate, at the crossroads between need and the larger forces that seem to dictate her path. With each choice she makes, the stakes rise higher, challenging her understanding of loyalty and love.

The vivid setting pulsates with the tension of an age-old struggle. As the protagonist navigates alliances and confronts rivalries, the rich tapestry of the Covenant series comes alive, filled with mythical beings and powerful emotions. Friendship and romance intertwine, testing the bonds that hold characters together in a world that appears determined to tear them apart.

With an exhilarating blend of danger and passion, the journey culminates in moments of both heart-wrenching sacrifice and hopeful triumph. The story entices readers to explore what it truly means to be ‘destined’—and whether one can forge their own path against the currents of fate.

Review originally posted at Doodle's Book BlogIf I thought Half-Blood was good, I don't even know how to describe the awesomeness that took place in Pure! Enticed by the continuation of Alex's story, I laughed and cried my way through the second book in the Covenant Series.Everyone knows that Alex's mother had been a Daimon, and when things start happening around school, she's the one who takes the biggest hit. If that wasn't enough, now she has to make it through a visit to the New York Covenant for the big council meeting and someone is set on destroying her.I was Team Aiden in Half-Blood. I'm not sure when it happened in Pure, but at some point I switched teams. Yes, Aiden can show Alex he cares away from the prying eyes of onlookers and he has continuously said that he can't have anything with with her because of the Breed Order, but in Pure he just irked me. Where Aiden was failing, Seth was picking up the pieces, always making himself available to Alex. Granted she didn't want him around, but he was, for once, worried about someone besides himself. I grew to love him.Pure was just as amazing as Half-Blood. There were twists I didn't expect and scenes that made me cry my eyes out. Alex was still her funny self and Seth put a smile on my face. My jaw dropped and I was in disbelief, even when I saw certain events coming. I never wanted to put Pure down.Overall, this book was fantastic. If you enjoyed Half-Blood, Pure will knock your socks off.
