Description

In a world where the boundary between human and werewolf blurs, a young girl finds herself navigating the complex dynamics of pack life after a tragic loss. Plunged into a new reality, she is adopted by the Alpha of a powerful werewolf pack, where survival hinges on both loyalty and the harsh instincts of the wild. As she grapples with mourning her parents’ brutal fate, the girl must also contend with her changing identity and the expectations of her newfound family.

The pack, a community bound by strength and secrecy, introduces her to friendships and rivalries that shape her understanding of trust and power. Each member harbors their own secrets and desires, compelling her to question where she fits within this enigmatic fold. With danger lurking around every corner, she learns to assert herself amidst a world where betrayal is common and alliances are fragile.

As she grows closer to her new family, she unearths revealing truths about her past and the factors that led her to this life. The juxtaposition of human vulnerability and werewolf ferocity pushes her to tap into her own latent strengths, forcing her to embrace the duality of her existence. The line between predator and prey becomes increasingly blurred, leaving her to confront whether the pack's strength can truly offer her the protection she so desperately seeks.

With an unexpected bond forming between her and the pack, the girl finds herself on a journey of self-discovery, driven by loyalty, humility, and a fierce desire to confront her own demons. As tension rises and dark forces threaten their way of life, she realizes that she must harness both her human and wolf instincts to protect those she has come to love. Ultimately, she stands at the crossroads of destiny, having to navigate the treacherous path of her past while determining her future.

Despite this book having a YA tag, it had been on my TBR shelf for a while.I decided to finally read this(YA sometimes appeals to me). I can tell you i was not dissapointed. it wasn't all fluffy bunnies that you usually get from YA reads. yes i kept getting interrupted when i was reading it but i can tell you this, i was very reluctant to leave the book.i find callum to be my favourite character. and Bryn (when i first started reading) i thoght was just a little brat. she seems to grow up after coming in contact with chase. and well i won't go into much more, cause it will spoil your enjoyment of this book. i went into this book, only with the knowledge that it was a YA book. and well it kinda put me off initally, but after reading this i think i was a bit silly because i really enjoyed this book.
