My Rating: ★★★★★I swear Steph Macca likes making me suffer.Three books into this series and I've finally worked out her strategy. It's basically, “Come on, Mel. Follow the hot, unhinged MMC towards the edge of the cliff. It'll be fine.”And apparently I fucking FOLLOW THEM.Then suddenly...FUCKING EARTHQUAKE.Now I'm hanging off the edge for dear life, questioning every decision that brought me here while Steph casually ends the fucking book.At this point, reading the Dance With My Demons series feels like the world's most emotionally damaging version of Groundhog Day because SHE KEEPS DOING IT.And somehow I keep coming back.Ravage takes everything that has been building throughout Unhinged and Echoes and basically says, okay, enough fucking around. We're going to war. The stakes are higher, everything is more chaotic and there is this constant feeling that absolutely nobody is safe.I was completely fucking invested. And can we please discuss these narrators for a second?Because Steph is already a bloody talented author. She did NOT need to assemble gentlemen capable of making these already questionable fictional men sound like THAT.Sirs.Respectfully.The voices?!I was already making questionable decisions regarding Gray, Theo and Damon. I did not require professional assistance.Although apparently I appreciated it. Fans self. But underneath all my yelling about fictional men, this series continues to keep me hooked because I genuinely NEED to know how everything connects. Every book reveals more about Lilydale, the people behind it and exactly how fucked up this entire situation really is, while simultaneously giving me approximately seventeen new things to worry about. And then we reached the ending.Steph.Darling.WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!Did you REALLY have to do me dirty like that AGAIN?!I should've known. I've been here twice already. I should have approached those final chapters with trust issues and protective equipment. But no.Apparently I learned nothing.Obviously, I can't tell you WHY I'm currently glaring in Steph Macca's general direction because spoilers, but once again she managed to leave me sitting there wondering what the actual fuck I'm supposed to do with myself now.⚠️ As with the previous books, Ravage is extremely dark and contains an extensive list of potentially distressing themes. PLEASE check the trigger warnings before reading or listening, and absolutely do not start here; this is Book Three and needs to be experienced in order.Steph, you're a bloody talented woman. Your narrators are something else. This series has me completely fucking hooked. But respectfully?STOP LEAVING ME HANGING OFF THE FUCKING CLIFF.

This was the best of the series so far. The plot is finally going somewhere. But I don't really care for 2 of the 4 mains, including the FMC. On paper this seems like something I would be into. I am finding the spicy scenes a bit cringe too.
