Ray's Rules Episode 2: Midnight at the Gates

Carlo, of course, has his story straight. He has Marco's death covered. In fact, he timed it perfectly with the death of his enemy, Nga Huang. Convenient? To say the least. Carlo knew that both of them were conspiring against him for some time now. Next step - to snuff a mouse.

Not only did he teach the boys how to protect themselves with their hands, he also emphasized the use of their wits to avoid trouble.Sometimes the more mature boys recognized this, and they appreciated Midnight even more.

The last time Ray meets with Midnight is at the entrance to Bridle Downs. After a brief exchange, Ray enters the track. Not wanting to attract attention, Ray expects to fly under the radar. As anticipated, the atmosphere was one of a world of excitement, people and money. He soon learns that there is also a world of power, profit, and consequences. By the end of the day, Ray is face to face with Carlo.
