Reviews

it's rare that you find a book series that keeps the level of quality from one book to the next, especially in a series this long, but this one definitely manages to do that.the characters are just as well written as in the first book; the mystery of magic in the world amps up as well as the political intrigue, and the characters grow quite drastically throughout the story. however, despite that, i did have a couple issues with it.namely with how lucia becomes a "bad" person overnight and how cleo stops being selfish and spoiled overnight. i have a theory as to why that is, but i'll keep that to myself lol. i also don't like how everyone and their mother wants cleo and thinks she's gorgeous. i have another theory as to why That is, but i'll keep that to myself also lol.other than that, though, the linework remains engaging and has you constantly wanting to read what will happen next. the multiple pov really works very well for this story just as it did with the first book. the character development may be rushed, but it doesn't feel that way very much either.the main theme of the story starts coming into play in this book as well, though it still feels like that won't truly be revealed until book 3 or 4, though i haven't read those ones before so i guess we'll see. i'm really excited to read the next book, since it's one of the four i haven't read before in this series, but so far this series is definitely keeping my attention and i'm excited to see where it goes from here.

POR QUÉ SE MUEREN TODOS 😭 Pero es tan interesante la historia que me deja con muchas ganas de más.
