Retribution Creek

In 1972, a troubled twelve year old boy named Jerry Walters killed a man in the mid-western town of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The man that he killed was a knife wielding maniac that most assuredly would have killed him. While under attack in the schoolyard, Jerry manged to knock his attacker unconscious with a concrete slab. However, instead of running to safety while his assailant was knocked out, Jerry picked up the same concrete slab and ended the man's life.
Fearing the worst possible retribution for his crime, Jerry hid the body until he was able to devise a plan to get rid of it permanently.
The story takes you through the tribulations of a twelve year old boy who has taken a life and then must attend to a rotting corpse while keeping it undetected. To make matters worse, there is a very determined police lieutenant who has managed to track down the man to Jerry's neighborhood.
