Well, that didn't happen like I thought it would. I wasn't expecting that to be how he got her. But I am so excited to see where this is going to go and if Reagan can influence her father to fight for her instead of Vlad.So far I'm a little sad we still don't have Darius's POV. I want to be in his head so damn bad. I want to see how he thinks. We only get bits and pieces of an idea when Reagan listens to his thoughts but I want to be in it.This section will clearly be following everyone we have followed so far. Penny is no longer in first person and has now joined Charity, Devon, and Emery in being in third person, which I guess is to set them apart from the true main character, Reagan. So while Reagan is away, we will get bits of the others' POV to see what is going on on their end. And I hope Darius is one of them. Or his defenses crumble so much that everyone around him can actually see that he's worried about Reagan. So far, I think Emery is the only one who will at this point in time because he's known Darius longer and will notice when the vampire is no longer himself.I will say though, the scene where Emery and Penny are watching Darius and Reagan dance is so nice. Just imagining the two of them gazing at each other as they dance is so cute. I want to capture it.Only two books left in this series and I will done. I am actually looking forward to seeing where this goes.
