Description
Partant d’une série danoise pour la jeunesse, l’auteur détourne images et dialogues pour déboucher sur un nouvel objet plastique.
"I scanned the totality of the pages of Petzi Fermier and digitally removed all the animal characters to the exception of Riki, the pelican. The background was digitally redrawn behind the missing characters and the balloons were all directed to the pelican. Riki is now alone in a village, listens to voices, replies to voices and is the only living witness of the spontaneous destruction and reconstruction of an abandoned farm."
