Hooked from the first scene (even though this isn't my usual genre!)🫣I’ll start by saying that I absolutely do not read M/M (male/male) or M/M/M romance books normally. It is just completely outside my usual comfort zone. I actually one-clicked this as part of a free eBook promotion without looking too closely, and my initial instinct when I realized what it was was to just hit delete. However, I always love supporting authors and I make a point to leave honest reviews, so I told myself I’d read just a couple of chapters before making a final decision. And I am so glad I did because the writing just drew me into the scenes and I just loved Robbie's attitude. The chemistry and character development are fantastic, though readers should definitely be aware that it is a highly intense, passionate read! 🌶️♨️🫠. As the story developed the past of both Julian and Priest is hinted at, which carries beautifully into the next two books.(Yes I downloaded samples of both)So if you are a reader that is open to new experiences you will definitely finish this wanting to dive straight into Julien and especially Priest's stories to see how everything unfolds. So I'll finish by saying...Even if this isn't your usual genre, the quality of the storytelling makes it entirely worth the read!
