No está tan mal como pensé al notar que era la historia de Junior. Eso sí, el 99% del libro era puro sexo y todo lo relacionado, algo entendible por la profesión que tiene Lauren. Me gustó pero pienso que pudo ser mejor.

LIKE BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY that this book took me the longest to get into and guess WHAT? A SOLID DNF.. yeah, I was really excited for the story cause if you don't know me I AM obsessed with bikes and bikers on tiktok, I AM A SUCKER so I was going ASAP to pick this book and binge it. The initial allure of the narrative, encapsulated in the assertion of desire from a man who typically achieves his wants, sets the stage for a potentially gripping dark romance. However, the execution disappointingly falters, relying excessively on clichéd archetypes such as the brooding, possessive anti-hero and the innocent heroine who undergoes a sultry transformation. Nico “Junior” Trocci is depicted as obsessively dangerous rather than intriguingly enigmatic, and his fixation on Lauren veers unsettlingly close to stalking rather than the passionate romance the story aims to portray. Rather than cultivating a nuanced and compelling relationship between the protagonists, the plot hastily propels them into lust-driven encounters that lack the emotional resonance and character development necessary to engage the reader fully.Lauren’s journey from a timid bookworm to a confident club-goer holds the potential for a powerful narrative arc, yet it is regrettably reduced to a mere backdrop for Junior’s objectification and possessive tendencies. Her internal struggles and emotional complexities are superficially addressed, rendering her more of a fantasy figure than a fully fleshed-out character. The club scenes, while undeniably steamy and explicit, overshadow any genuine attempts at plot progression or meaningful relationship dynamics. Ultimately, the novel resembles a collection of spicy fanfiction rather than a thoughtfully crafted romance, leaving readers yearning for depth and authenticity that remains tantalizingly out of reach.the only thing that I loved is the bike that Junior has...and it's such a waste..
It was a fun book to read loved the characters and the plot it definitely has character growth and I just really loved the experience of reading this masterpiece
This was still funny but not as funny as Lights Out was. I enjoyed this book though and the sex club scenes were hot.
I love the fact that Junior wasn't really sure about Josh but then he likes Josh and they ended up being good friends. His love story is more crazier and hotter honestly.

3.75⭐What I liked about the book:- the discourse around sex work and all the stigma attached to it- the openness in discussing and exploring kinks and sexual preferences - the fact that the spicy scenes weren't there just for the sake of being there, they were actually part of the story - the spice was very hot and very well written, in my opinion- the found family is always a balm to my heart. What I didn't like:- the plot was pretty thin- I personally didn't like the female audiobook narration style (can't really explain why) - the name Junior immediately makes me think of someone very young and that really gave me an icky feeling when reading the vividly written sex scenes in which Junior was doing ungodly things to Lauren. I know that it's common, especially in wealthy powerful families and it's probably just a me problem, but I really really hated that.
It was really good and fun to read. Yeah, maybe this one wasn't as funny as the first one, and that's because the dynamic between them was different from the 1st book. i really liked the idea of the FMC being a cam worker, which showed a glimpse of how and why some of the may ended up in this industry. and the smut 🔥🔥>>> it was enough, yeah it was more than again the 1st book but some people's love language is sexuall and I don't see any problem with it until one is force too which here nothing like that happen and the BOLD ideas of where and how the smuts happen was so good and new to me that well... I like it :))) The characters were also superb; I don't know how some people said there was no chemistry between them. I felt like there was chemistry, and it developed from the moment they met. The love was big enough to feel even through listening to the audiobook. I didn't find anything discussing or painful in Junior's behavior; despite his background, he was all soft and a lover for Lauren that I couldn't believe. This guy literally is head over heels for her and would do ANYTHING to make her happy. That's the man of life 🛐❤️🔥also she was a good supporter, and I really liked her personality; being logical and bold makes her so special. The audiobook is HEAVEN, I advise listening to it instead of reading so you can feel them.
This sequel was a little more tense and had a more serious undertone compared to Lights Out, but it was still an enjoyable ride of kink and spice. Characters from the fiat book made a reappearance, and the world inside the story expanded to fit the diverse relationships between each other throughout the large city setting.
This was definitely different than the first book, more of an interconnected standalone. I sometimes feel like a spicy book with a play club is sort of an excuse for spice and tbh I sort of felt that here. I liked the main characters and the plot. If I could do half stars, I would have given 3.5. She had a good setup for a future book for Tyler and Nic's brothers, which I think I may like more than this one. There were some really funny parts (like calling a wooden spoon and analog taser) and literally everything about Nonna.

I know many people were comparing the previous book to this one, and of course, it's not going to be the same; however, Lights Out and Caught Up are both in the same universe, and you do get a little crossover. I normally hate second-chance romances, but this one was well done, and I was excited about the plot. I love Nico. A biker/mafia man is everything a woman wants (well, maybe just me). Unlike some MCs, Nico was self-aware when it came to his character flaws, and he worked on fixing them. One thing I didn't like was that it was mentioned throughout the book that Nic had anger issues... but I didn't get /see that. Anytime he "lashed out," he was protecting a person he cared about, and it wasn't anything more than that. This man is in the mafia, of course, he's going to be a little violent, and it was a bit annoying to see his actions being questioned. The biggest turn-off for me in a story is not liking the FMC, and unfortunately, I did not like Lauren. Don't get me wrong, I love what she stands for, bringing light and a voice to cam work, but it got annoying with how much she brought it up. It felt like the majority of the time getting to know her as a character, she was repeating non-stop about how she was a cam girl, and there was never any new information or character growth. I also wasn't a fan of how over the top/dramatic Lauren is. She would get so upset at Nico over nothing, and wouldn't communicate or let him explain himself. I understand she has trauma, but it was annoying to me. The last thing that I would've liked to see differently was the storyline between Nico and his father. I think it just missed the mark a little for me. I would've liked to see something new, not just Nico using Josh's escape plan. Like his father kidnapping Lauren and Nico having to go after his father would've been so much more interesting to me. With that being said, I would still recommend the book, but just know that if you loved Lights Out and the comedic relief/ banter (especially with Josh), it won't be found in this book.
