View All3.5 stars“Violence is stupid. Even as a last resort, it only ever begets more of the same.”This was my first ever graphic novel, so I'm quite surprised how much I enjoyed it and now I'm actually reading the second volume. I really liked the storyline and the characters and THE ART! The art is amazing, incredibly unique and so colourful. The main characters are really entertaining and I absolutely love Izabel.
Awfully tragic but still beautiful. The characters don't give up. A real portrayal of parenthood and the joy, sadness and worry that characterize it. All made more difficult by circumstances way out of their hands. A tale that illustrates on point the hypocrisy and contradictory nature of mankind.
