There's more to my brother's murder than I realised...
Shadows in the halls, mysteries lurking around every corner.
Whoever killed him is covering their tracks well.
And now I'm walking a dangerous line between getting close to the four kings for information and wanting to crawl deeper under their skin for my own desires.
I can't trust anyone.
I can't let my guard down.
And I must keep the urges of my body separate from my heart.
But I'm starting to break all of my own rules.

View AllSavage Fae was a mixed experience for me, entertaining enough to keep me reading, but definitely not without its frustrations. The tension between Elise and the four kings is genuinely addictive, and it’s easy to see why readers get pulled into their dynamic. The multiple POVs and the ongoing mystery surrounding her brother’s death also add layers of depth and keep you guessing. That said, this installment often felt like it dragged. The plot doesn’t move forward as much as I wanted, and at times the story gets sidetracked by romance and repetitive internal monologue instead of focusing on the central mystery. It can feel like the pacing stalls just when things should be picking up.Elise as a main character was also a sticking point for me. She has her strong moments, but her decision-making can be frustrating, especially considering she is romantically involved with men she actively suspects might be responsible for her brother’s murder. That dynamic makes it hard to fully invest in the relationships, even when the chemistry is meant to be compelling. On top of that, it’s a bit confusing why all four men are so intensely obsessed with her when she is often rude, emotionally inconsistent, and frequently dismissive toward them. Her constant push-pull with male validation also felt repetitive at times, especially given her unwillingness to truly commit to any of them.Overall, Savage Fae is still an engaging read if you’re already invested in the series or enjoy reverse harem fantasy with high tension and spice. But if you’re looking for tight pacing, consistent character logic, or strong plot progression, this one can feel uneven. There’s a noticeable emphasis on romance and sexual content, sometimes at the expense of Elise actively pursuing answers about her brother’s murder.
I liked this book a lot more then the first book. Is this the best book ever written no, but I have a lot of fun reading this book. I'm really liking Leo but at the same time I'm still suspicious of everyone. You like them but you also don't trust them. I like how Elise just doesn't give a fuck and because of that becomes a stronger fae. Can't wait for the next book.
