Description

This week we have a Martian tale of dreams and their fulfilment from Mark Slade, co-editor of the new Rogue Planet Press publication Bizarre Fantasy, which will be available on April 10th. Gary Murphy has a story of a strange and terrible birth, and we’re also interviewing our most prolific contributor for the first in a series of interviews with Schlock! authors: The Schlocking Truth. Promising newcomer Bram Stoker is next, with his account of The Gipsy Prophecy, while another regular contributor, Stephen Hernandez, has a story of a quest for lost treasure that takes its participant down to strange and unexpected depths.

On Snail Island, Katie flees the jungle while Dr. Weller gets stuck in the laboratory. In Edgar Allan Poe’s A Tale of the Ragged Mountains, a man takes a trip through time to a mysterious Eastern city. In the final installment of The Coming Race, the narrator seeks to escape the now hostile subterranean civilisation with the aid of Zee. And in A Connecticut Yankee at King Arthur’s Court the eponymous Connecticut Yankee comes to the aforementioned King Arthur’s court.

Next week, we’ll be celebrating our fourth anniversary, so please send all your best stories if you want them included! The plan is to release the edition as both ebook and as a special paperback commemorative edition. We’ll see.
