Description

This week we have a tale of Bridesmaids and the terrible Semirg from Dave Ludford, followed by a space opera mini-epic by Gary Murphy which features sci-fi hero of yore Captain Science (aka Gordon Dane). After that, we have an ode to London stained by bodily fluids from the pen of Steve Laker, and a review of Andrew McCrae’s retro science fiction anthology Stories from the World of Tomorrow by Stephen Hernandez.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle regales us this week with a tale of the horrors of the Peak, and his fellow knight Sir Walter Scott gallops in to relate a story of hauntings following American independence. Nineteenth century Italy is the setting for Thomas Street Millington’s No Living Voice. Meanwhile, under the sea, Ned Land loses his temper, and back in London the Connecticut Yankee is on trial.
