⚠️ DO NOT READ MY REVIEW YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK YET OR IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY READING IT! ⚠️3.5 ⭐️personally, I think this book is a little more rushed than B&B and L&L. like, first of all, the story, up to about halfway of the book, was cute and fun. but after they started the whole fwb thing, it felt rushed, and it's definitely not my favourite book in the trilogy. I mean, there are some cute parts that I like, like the letters he gives her when he's overseas, and the way he looked after her.and what was up with the epilogues? it made no sense at all. like, who was talking in the first pov when all the other characters are talking in their 3rd person pov? it was really confused. another thing I didn't get was how is that we didn't really get a depth of how the MMC and the MFC, ESPECIALLY the MMC, get past their problems and out of nowhere, they confessed their love to the MFC.
-> 3.5 stars Honestly L&L was a 3.5 after B&B 4.5 and I had high hopes for this. In same ways it was better than L&L, I preferred the characters, their personalities and backgrounds. The banter was cute and I liked how long it specifically took them to say I love you.In other ways it was worse, the plot felt low stakes and was resolved easily. The 3rd act breakup was not satisfying.My biggest issue is throughout this series, it felt like the author thought she needed more insta lust and smut scenes. They felt great at the timing for B&B and by this book it was like they were trying to carry the book. Wasn't a fan tbh.-> 3.5 stars
It was a pretty good book, i just think that it was overhyped. Now this is just my opinion on the book. The first 2 books were d best though.
